A little bit of background..

Over the years I have lost count of the number of times I have been asked how long I have been building dolls houses. My standard response is “I have no idea, but it feels like forever!” Indeed my childhood could in many ways be likened to an ongoing apprenticeship, one that taught me that my imagination would always remain my most valuable tool.

These days I am lucky enough to run my own business; Petite Properties Ltd and everyday I get to do what I love most – Create. I must add though that it is also fairly tough and time consuming being a one woman army (so to speak) and over the last few years I have struggled to cope with my ever increasing workload.

But to be truthful, it is hard to complain… I was once told by someone very dear to me,

“Do a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life…”

It was the best advice and as a result of whole heartedly following it - I start everyday with a smile…
